The insurance company might dispatch an in-house adjuster or an external independent loss adjuster. A spot survey will be mandatory if a third party or immobilised vehicle is involved.

You must also submit photographs on the damaged vehicle along with its driver at the time of the accident. The photos should clearly display all the damages inflicted upon the car. If needed, the insurance company will then initiate an investigation or tracing exercise.

  • Survey

An in-house or external surveyor will be sent to assess the losses. This will occur within 4 to 6 working hours of reporting the claim. The following requirements must be fulfilled by you at this point in the claim process.

  1. Submit all relevant documents as asked for during the third stage

  2. Cooperate as and when reinspection is required

The surveyor will then submit a final report to the insurance company which will decide the progression of your claim process.
