Note that it may take 45 days after you have settled your unpaid dues for your card to get unblocked. If the reason for blocking your card was a failure to create an ECS mandate, try submitting a new request.
The card issuer may block your card for multiple reasons. These include:
1. If you are unable to pay EMIs within the due date
2. If you are unable to submit the ECS mandate correctly
3. There is a drastic decrease in your credit score (typically below 750)
You can quickly resolve any of the aforementioned issues by:
1. Paying your EMIs immediately
2. Resolving the ECS mandate issues by reaching out to your bank; if not, by submitting a new mandate to the card provider
3. Taking the necessary steps to ensure your credit score is more than 750
Your card could be blocked either because you missed an EMI payment or failed to furnish your ECS mandate. In addition, if your credit score falls to a number below 750, your card can get blocked.
You must get it unblocked if you want to purchase your favourite products at Bajaj Finserv partner stores.
The only way to unblock your card, in this case, is to pay your dues. Making your EMI repayments is simple enough, and you can do it by visiting the nearest Bajaj Finserv branch and settling your dues.
Alternatively, you can also use the mobile app or the official website to make the payment. All you have to do is sign into the customer portal, Experia, to make your EMI payments.
If your bank has not accepted your ECS mandate or if there are any inconsistencies with your account details, it is best to resolve the issue at the earliest. You can do this by submitting a new ECS mandate at the nearest Bajaj Finserv branch.
If you are doing this at the beginning or during the middle of a month, ensure that you pay the advance EMI since it is mandatory to clear all your EMI dues on or before the 22nd of each month.
Till your ECS mandate is activated, you will need to perform this action manually. Once you have successfully resolved the issues surrounding your ECS mandate, your card will be unblocked.
It may take up to 45 days for the unblocking process to be complete, after which you can use your Bajaj Finserv EMI Network Card at accepted shops.
In case your credit score falls below 750, your Bajaj Finserv Insta EMI Card may get blocked. If this happens, look into the reasons for your dipping score. If there are any dues that are unpaid, ensure that you settle them at the earliest.
You can also take other steps to restore your credit score to 750 or higher. After you have restored your score, obtain a copy of your latest credit report reflecting your new CIBIL score.
Share your report with Bajaj Finserv at www.bajajfinserv.in/reach-us and place a request for your card to be unblocked.
In case your card is blocked as a result of non-payment, you can follow the steps to unblock your card. Simply log into the customer portal and unblock your card to start using it again.
