How to Make a Claim Under SBI General Super Health Insurance

There are two ways in which you can raise a claim under this health insurance policy: Cashless and Reimbursement Claims. Follow these steps to make a claim under this policy:

 

  1. Inform SBI about your hospitalisation within 24-hours incase of emergency cashless hospitalisation, 72-hours before the planned cashless hospitalisation, and 48-hours after the hospital discharge incase of reimbursement claims

  2. Send a form of pre-authorisation to SBI General incase of cashless hospitalisation

  3. Receive the treatment after the pre-authorisation is granted and get discharged

  4. Pay the total hospitalisation bill while getting discharged and collect all the necessary documents incase of reimbursement claims

  5. Submit the documents to SBI General as asked within 30 days after getting discharged

  6. SBI General will then settle your claim within a span of 30 days

You will have to submit the following documents incase of reimbursement claims:

  • Original reports of investigation

  • Certified copies of investigation, medicine, and hospital bills

  • Duly filled claims’ form

  • Self-attested copies of PAN card, photo ID, address proof, and aadhar card

  • KYC details

  • Certified copy of the death certificate incase of the policyholder’s death

  • NEFT/bank account details
