Following are covered under the Senior Citizen Care Insurance.

• Test Coverage

Up to nine pathological tests are covered under this policy. The tests include blood sugar, hemogram, cholesterol, lipid profile, ECG, etc. to insure your older loved ones’ health. These tests can be carried out only at Bajaj Finserv Health Prime partnered hospitals and labs.

• Teleconsultation Coverage

You can access up to five teleconsultations with doctors of various specialities through the Bajaj Finserv Health Platform. The doctor of your choice must at least have an MBBS, MBS, BAMS or BHMS degree to be qualified as a medical practitioner for this coverage. You can submit an invoice stating the doctor’s fees, name, spreciality, registration number, date of consultation, doctor’s stamp and consultation date to have your teleconsultation costs reimbursed.

• Prime Network Discounts

Under the Bajaj Finserv Health Prime Network the policyholder can use discounts. They are as follows.

Under the Bajaj Finserv Health Prime Network, the policyholder can also utilise free ambulance services for IPD admissions. These discounts can be used multiple times with no limit on the maximum discount utilised by the policyholder.

 

Note: Not all network discounts can be applied to the Bajaj Finserv Health Prime Network.

Policy Plan Details & Specifications

Following are the details of the Senior Citizen Care Insurance with accordance to the premium rate of the cover.

 

Senior Citizen Care at a premium rate of Rs. 899 namely, the Essential Package.

 

Senior Citizen Care at a premium rate of Rs. 1,3999 namely, the Classic Package.

 

Below, you will find exclusions based on the various services this policy covers.

Lab Test Package

The lab test package provided under this policy can be utilised under the Bajaj Finserv Health Prime Network only. Certain selected locations for lab testing do not offer pick-up facilities for sample collection. 

 

Since the lab package has a predetermined set of tests, the user of this package must complete all the prescribed tests and cannot transfer them to other family members or friends. Similarly, you cannot carry-forward unused benefits. Additionally, the policy holder cannot renew the policy after one year. 

 

The package is not redeemable against cash.

Consultation Benefit

The consultation benefit provided under this policy is strictly a teleconsultation benefit which does not cover physical or in-person consultations. This benefit is not transferable to anyone other than the individuals listed under the policy. The claimant cannot pass the benefits over to other individuals. Benefits not used cannot be carried forward. The teleconsultation benefit cannot be redeemed for cash.

Network Discount

The Bajaj Finserv Health Prime Network discounts cannot be clubbed with other benefits and neither can they be used in organisations outside the prime network.

You can follow the steps given below to claim the consultation, laboratory and radiology coverage.

• Sign up with your registered phone number on the Bajaj Finserv Health App.

• You can select your policy of choice under “Health Plans” and select ‘Doctor Consultation’ or ’Lab & Radiology Benefit’ according to your preference. 

• Fill out all fields asking for your details along with uploading the invoice.

• Upload a cancelled cheque along with your bank account details.

• Once you submit the claim, the amount will be reimbursed within 48 working hours.

Bajaj Finserv Health Website

• Sign up using your registered phone number on the Bajaj Finserv Health Website.

• Select your plan under ‘Health Plans’ and choose between ‘Doctor Consultation’ and ‘Lab & radiology Benefit’.

• Upload your invoice along with the required information.

• Upload a cancelled cheque along with bank details.

• After submitting your claim, the amount will be reimbursed within 48b working hours.

Customer Service Email 

• Attach the scanned copy of your invoice in an email to customercare@bajajfinservhealth.in.

• In the body of your email, list out the hospital or laboratory name, patient name, bill amount, etc. 

• Attach a cancelled cheque along with your account number, bank name, primary account holder’s name, IFSC code, etc.

• Your claim will be reimbursed in the following 48 working hours. 

 

Here’s how you can claim teleconsultation coverage through the following portals

• Sign up with your registered phone number on the Bajaj Finserv Health App.

• You can select your policy of choice under “Health Plans” and select ‘Teleconsultation Benefit’. 

• Select a doctor of your choice from the dropdown and select your preferred date and time.

• Once you submit your claim, you will be given a link to join the consultation call.

• You will have 15 minutes to join the call before the doctor does at scheduled time.

• Sign up with your registered phone number on bajajfinservhealth.in.

• You can select your policy of choice under “Health Plans” and select ‘Teleconsultation Benefit’. 

• Select a doctor of your choice and your preferred date and time.

• Once you submit your claim, you will be given a link to join the consultation call.

• You will have 15 minutes to join the call before the doctor does at scheduled time.

 

To claim a lab test package under the Bajaj Finserv Health Prime Network, follow the steps given below.

• Select the hospital or lab of your choice before entering the redemption date.

• A voucher link and code will be sent to you via SMS on your registered phone number for cashless testing.

• Select your plan under ‘Health Plans’ and click on ‘Lab Test Package Benefit’.

• Select the hospital or lab of your choice before entering the redemption date.

• A voucher link and code will be sent to you via SMS on your registered phone number for cashless testing.

Customer Service Email 

• Write an email to customercare@bajajfinservhealth.in consisting details such as hospital or laboratory name, customer name, contact details and date.

• Following this, you will receive a confirmation call on which you must submit an OTP you will receive.

• Once the confirmation is successful, you will receive an SMS with the voucher code and link which you can use to claim coverage for lab tests.

 

Here’s how the Prime Network discounts work.

• At a Bajaj Finserv Health Prime Network hospital, you can give your registered phone number for the billing process.

• You will receive an OTP which you can share with the billing executive to utilise a 5%-10% discount.
