The following Awas Yojana documents are needed in the case of a salaried person are:
ID Proof can be an Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, DL or driving licence, etc
Address proof can be an Aadhaar card, voter card, credit card statement of the last 3 months, receipt of property tax payment, LIC or Life Insurance Policy, etc
Income proof can be the last 6 months' bank statement, ITR receipts, and salary slips for the last 2 months
The Awas Yojana documents such as the sale agreement and deed, Certificate to Property Registration, Builder Payment Receipt, etc. may also be needed.
The following documents are needed in the case of a self-employed person are:
ID Proof can be an Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, DL or driving licence, etc
Address proof can be an Aadhaar card, voter card, bank statements having your address, voter card, LIC or Life Insurance Policy, or passport
Income Proof can be Firm or factory establishment certificate, trade licence, SEBI certificate, SSI registration, PAN card, VAT registration, sales tax and deed receipt, factory registration certificate, ROC-issued registration number, partnership deed, etc.
Yes. Both salaried and self-employed applicants need to submit property-related documents when applying for the PMAY scheme. The list of documents include copies of the allotment letter, complete chain of property, payment receipt, and sale agreement.
The deadline for the PMAY-U scheme has been extended until 31st December 2024.
