PMJAY BIS - Beneficiary Identification System

To provide improved healthcare facilities to low-income group individuals, the Union Government launched the Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (PMJAY). Also called the Ayushman Bharat scheme, this health assurance scheme provides a health cover of ₹5 Lakhs to 55 crore beneficiaries.

 

The government launched an e-card application on PMJAY BIS ( Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana Beneficiary Identification System) to identify beneficiaries from poor and vulnerable families.

The Union Government launched the PMJAY BIS portal for centralised monitoring of beneficiaries under the scheme. 

• All beneficiaries need to register on this portal and verify their eligibility to enjoy financial security

• The beneficiaries enjoy the convenience of the Ayushman Bharat e-card once they complete the verification process on this portal
