The Assam government gives ration cards to specific families in the state under the Public Distribution Scheme (PDS) of the Nation Food Security Act(NFSA), 2013. A ration card is a document that allows low-income or below-poverty-line families to obtain food grains at a reduced price. In Assam, ration cards are now given under the NFSA Scheme.
The Assam ration card list for 2024 is available online. The following are the steps you should follow:
Step 1: Visit the Assam PDS official website.
Step 2: Choose the name of your district in Assam.

To apply for a ration card in Assam, go to the nearest Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs branch office.
