• Step 4: Enter the OTP sent on your registered phone number.

• Step 5: Enter your aadhar number and last name.

• Step 6: Click on "Submit".

• Step 7: You will now receive an ‘application reference number’ and an SMS notification to take a test to acquire a permanent licence.

• Step 8: You have to then appear for a test with the type of vehicle mentioned at the time of filling the application form. You will have to drive your vehicle in front of the RTO officer.

 

You will then receive your results in a couple of hours, followed by the permanent driver’s licence via post in a couple of days. In case of failure of the driving test, you will have to repeat the entire process again until you pass.
