An unloaded FASTag account can lead to several inconveniences, including being stuck in long queues at cash toll plaza lanes. So, you must check and maintain the balance to ensure a seamless and speedy experience at toll booths during daily commutes. There are multiple ways to check FASTag balance, all of which are easy and quick.

Most FASTag issuers allow you to check the remaining amount on your account easily. Follow these steps-

1. Visit your FASTag issuer’s website or mobile application

2. Log into your account using your credentials

3. Click on the option to check the account balance

4. Enter your vehicle registration number

5. You will now be able to view the remaining balance

The convenience of online platforms makes it easy to manage your account. Here are the steps you need to follow to check FASTag balance on the bank’s website-

1. Visit the website of the issuing bank or log in to the FASTag portal

2. Click on the ‘View Balance’ option to view the remaining amount

You can also know the remaining balance using the My FASTag mobile application on the issuing bank’s mobile app. The following are the steps you need to follow:

Through MyFASTag App

1. Launch the app on your phone

2. Register your FASTag with the MyFASTag app and link it with your number, if not done

3. Log in using your registered number and OTP

4. Go to the ‘Account Summary’ or ‘Balance’ tabs

5. Check the balance displayed on the screen

Through Issuing Bank Mobile App

1. Open the mobile banking application 

2. Log in to your account using your credentials

3. Click on the ‘View Balance’ option

4. Select your Tag account number to check the balance on your wallet

Once you register for a FASTag account, you will receive regular SMS alerts every time the toll amount is deducted from your account. Apart from the deduction amount, you will also receive information about the following- 

• Account balance

• Notification alerts on low balance

• Toll payments

• Recharge payments

1. Search for the latest email from FASTag in your inbox

2. The email will enlist the deducted amount as well as the remaining balance
