Vehicle Registration at Rajasthan RTO

The RTO is in charge of Rajasthan vehicle registration process. The Motor Vehicles Act of 1988 necessitates Rajasthan vehicle owners to register their vehicle with the Rajasthan RTO in order to lawfully drive a vehicle in the region.

You may visit https://transport.rajasthan.gov.in/content/transportportal/en/transport.html for doing the registration online, to check the RJ RTO vehicle information, or go to the nearest RTO available in your city for the same.

Here is the list of documents required for the vehicle registration at Rajasthan RTO.

  • Form 20

  • Form 21

  • Form 22A, or the vehicle's manufacturer's roadworthiness certificate

  • If the car is purchased on loan, the financer must provide Form 28 or a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

  • Purchase invoice

  • PAN card or Form 60

  • Vehicle insurance certificate

  • Resident proof

  • Passport size photographs

  • Road tax as per Rajasthan state

  • In the event of loan hypothecation, use Form 34

The aforesaid documents are verified by Rajasthan RTO personnel, as well as the vehicle is also inspected. If everything comes clean, a registration number is issued to the applicant.

Like Rajasthan vehicle registration, the government has also mandated to have motor insurance. The Indian government has made it mandatory for everyone who owns or runs a vehicle in India to buy car insurance under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. If a traffic officer discovers a person breaking the law, he or she will be fined heavily. If required, the officials may even initiate legal action against the individual.

There are two types of insurance available: Third-party and Comprehensive insurance. Both coverages have their own prices and benefits. You can compare them and pick one as per your requirement. You may apply for it online or offline. To ensure a smooth experience and save time, acquire automobile insurance through the Bajaj Markets platform. Bajaj Markets does not provide insurance; nonetheless, some organizations on the platform provide vehicle insurance online via the site. You can purchase from any of them.
