The FASTag service introduced in India offers users the ability to make cashless toll payments from the customer’s linked bank account. This electronic toll payment service works on Radio Frequency technology. There are around 22 banks in India that have partnered with the National Highway Authority of India to ensure smooth and seamless FASTag services.
Of these 22 banks, ICICI Bank is one of them. If you are an ICICI account holder you can begin your ICICI FASTag registration process effortlessly.

There are two ways to apply for an ICICI FASTag - online and offline. The customer can choose either medium based on their preferences.
Follow the steps below to apply for your FASTag -
Go to the homepage of the ICICI official portal
In the search bar, type “FASTag”
Tap on ‘Apply Now’ in the FASTag section
Enter your details like name, address, contact details, date of birth and email address
Submit the details along with supporting documents
Click on ‘Continue’
You will be redirected to a new page where you have to tap on ‘Confirm Application.’
Pay the charges corresponding to your vehicle type
After your application is reviewed and accepted, your FASTag will be dispatched to your registered address

Send a SMS to 5676766 inquiring about the FASTag application process. A representative will contact you within 2 working days and guide you through the process.

You can also purchase a FASTag by visiting either the nearest ICICI Bank branch or the NETC booths. You will have to provide the relevant details and documents. Ensure that your vehicle registration and KYC documents are kept handy. After the details and documents are verified, you will be allotted a FASTag.

Follow the steps below to check your FASTag balance-
Visit the official ICICI Bank Website or App
Navigate to the ‘FASTag services’ section
Log in to your account using your credentials
After logging in, you will be redirected to the FASTag account window where you can check your FASTag balance
Visit the official FASTag portal or download the ‘My FASTag App’ available on Google Play Store as well as the App Store
Now, log into your ICICI FASTag account using your credentials
After logging in, you will be able to check your FASTag balance

To regenerate your password, visit the ICICI customer web page and click on ‘Forgot Password’. After following the steps, a SMS with your new login password will be sent to your registered mobile number. Alternatively, you contact customer care on 1860-267-0104.
You will have to use the ICICI Bank Pockets App to access your account.
If your FASTag is not working even though it has sufficient balance, pay the toll charge in cash for the time being. Then call 033 and file a complaint regarding the issue. 033 is a centralised centre’s number set up by NHAI to look into such issues.
To add a vehicle, visit the ICICI customer web page and raise a ticket under the registration option. Upload a copy of the vehicle registration certificate. The vehicle number will be added within 1-2 working days.
Your customer ID is generally sent to your registered mobile number via SMS. In case you did not receive it, contact the customer care centre on their toll-free number: 1800-2100-104 or their chargeable number: 1860-2670-104.
