Farmers can apply for three different components under the KUSUM Yojana. Component A allows farmers to use their land to set up solar power plants within 5 KMs of a power station.
With Component B, farmers can install a standalone solar pump for irrigation. Under Component C, farmers can get financial support of up to ₹10 Lakhs for the solarization of the existing grid.
