How to Unblock an ICICI Bank Credit Card

If you have lost your ICICI Bank credit card or suspect unauthorised transactions, you can block it online immediately. The bank may also block your credit card upon witnessing irregular payments.

You can use ICICI Bank’s iMobile App to activate your card again and carry out online and offline transactions. Here is how to unblock an ICICI Bank credit card: 

1. Login to the app using your MPIN or internet banking credentials

2. Tap on the ‘Card and Forex’ option

3. Choose your credit card 

4. Select the ‘Unblock Credit Card’ option  

5. Address the reason for temporary deactivation to complete the process

You can also reactivate your temporarily blocked credit card by sending a message on WhatsApp. Follow these steps to unblock an ICICI Bank credit card:

1. Save the number 8640086400 on your device and open it on WhatsApp

2. Send ‘Hi’ to from your registered mobile number

3. Type “Unblock” to unblock your cards

4. Use any of these keywords ‘block’, ‘card was stolen’, ‘unblock’, ‘block my card’, ‘unblock my card’, ‘block unblock’, ‘lost my card’, ‘found my card’, ‘hotlist’ or ‘dehotlist’

• The credit card has been compromised

• If you used the card to withdraw cash from an ATM but did not receive the money
