You can now apply for a new PAN card both online and offline, making the process simpler than ever before. If you are a PAN card holder and have misplaced your card, you may apply online for a replacement or obtain an electronic PAN from UTIITSL. Here is how to use the UTIITSL website to submit an online application for a new UTI PAN card:
Step 1: Go to the UTIITSL website and click on PAN Card for Indian Citizen or NRI under "PAN Services."
Step 2: Select "Apply for New PAN Card (Form 49A)"
Step 3: Select either the "Physical Mode," where you must send the printed-signed application form to the nearby UTIITSL office, or the "Digital Mode," where the application form is signed electronically using the DSC or Aadhaar authentication, and you are not required to produce a hard copy of the form.
Step 4: Enter the necessary personal and other information.
Step 5: Check the accuracy of the information entered and press the "Submit" button.
Step 6: After confirmation, you can proceed to pay the bill online by selecting one of the two payment gateway alternatives that are offered: PayU India or BillDesk. Payment options include cash cards, debit cards, credit cards, and net banking.
Step 7: You will receive a payment confirmation after a successful transaction. You have the option of saving this or printing it out.
Step 8: Attach two passport-sized photos (3.5 x 2.5 cm each) to the printed form and sign the space provided.
The offline technique is another option for applicants who want to apply for PAN cards. You can go to a nearby CSC PAN UTI facility and do the following actions:
Step 1: Download and print Form 49A. You can get the form at https://www.protean-tinpan.com/downloads/pan/download/Form_49A.PDF.
Step 2: Fill out the form and attach two passport-size photos.
Step 3: Pay the fee by demand draft made out to UTIITSL in Mumbai.
Step 4: Self-attested copies of the proofs should be included with the form.

Step 6: PAN card UTI will be generated and mailed to the applicant's residential address after the application has been processed successfully.
