Link Aadhaar to Punjab National Bank Account

All bank accounts must be updated with an Aadhaar number and confirmed using biometrics. The Punjab National Bank, also known as PNB Bank, has developed a secure online website that allows you to conveniently link your Punjab National Bank account to your Aadhaar number at home.

However, before beginning the PNB Aadhaar linking procedure, verify that you have registered a valid phone number in your Aadhaar details, because the OTP required for the Adhar linking procedure can only be issued to the mobile phone number registered with your Aadhaar card.

It is advised that you link your Aadhaar card to your PNB  Bank account if you are a user of that bank. This will enable you to get a number of advantages and facilitate transactions. So if you have an account in Punjab National Bank and you want to link you PNB Bank  account with Aadhaar card, here are the methods that you should follow:

Visit the bank branch to Link your Aadhaar card to your PNB Bank account offline:

• Step 1: As not everyone is technologically savvy, there is now an option to link your Aadhaar via offline mode. You must go to a local bank in to link your Aadhaar number to your Punjab National Bank account.

• Step 2: Fill out the application for linking Aadhaar with a bank account at the Punjab National Bank location where your account is held.

• Step 3: Verify that you filled everything out correctly.

• Step 4: Include a self-attested photocopy of your Aadhaar card before submitting.

• Step 5: Your authentic Aadhaar card and bank passbook are required for verification.

• Step 6: When this procedure is complete and the linkage is complete, the bank will give the customer a confirmation message through email or SMS.

You can link Aadhaar with your PNB account online through the official website by following these steps:

• Step 1: Visit PNB's website at pnbindia.in

• Step 2: On the right-hand side of the page, click on the "Update Aadhaar" option.

• Step 3: You must click "CLICK HERE FOR OTP BASED AADHAAR SEEDING" on the new page that is brought up after the redirect.

• Step 4: Clicking the link will take you to the Aadhaar seeding page.

•  Step 5: Enter the space provided with your 12-digit Aadhaar card number and click 'Continue.

• Step 6:You will get an OTP on the phone number associated with your Aadhaar; input that OTP.

• Step 7: Your personal information will be displayed once the OTP has been verified. Check and verify the information and confirm.

Here’s how you can link your Aadhaar with your PNB account using PNB Internet Banking facility.

• Step 1: By going to the PNB's official website, logging into your PNB net banking account, and selecting "Requests" under "Services," you may link your Aadhaar to your PNB bank.

• Step 2: "Aadhaar Linking with Bank Account" should be clicked.

• Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar number, then confirm it by providing it again in the following step.

• Step 4: Then click "Submit." You will need to input an OTP that will be issued to the registered mobile phone number in one of the steps.

• Step 5: Your Aadhaar will successfully be connected to your PNB bank account when the bank verifies the information you provided after you submit it.

Linking Aadhaar to PNB account- Using an ATM, link your Aadhaar to your Bank account.

• Step 1: Visit the nearby PNB ATM to connect your Aadhaar to your PNB bank account.

• Step 2: Input your PIN and swipe your PNB debit card.

• Step 3: After choosing "other services," select "Aadhaar Number Registration."

• Step 4: After entering your Aadhaar number, select "Proceed".

• Step 5: You must input your Aadhaar number once again.

• Step 6: Select your bank account type (savings or current) and click "Proceed."

• Step 7: You will receive a mail verifying the effective linking of your Aadhaar with your Punjab National Bank account after it has been done.

Linking Aadhaar to PNB account- via SMS.

• Step 1: Account holders with a Punjab National Bank account who have updated their mobile numbers with the bank are eligible to access this service.

• Step 2: Send the text message AADHAAR to 5607040 using the phone number shown in the bank's records.

• Step 3: The seeding procedure is started as soon as the bank gets it.

• Step 4: You will be notified after the linkage is complete saying the same.
