How To Pay Property Tax Offline in Andhra Pradesh

For traditional payment methods, you can visit Sachivalayam Centres, Citizen Service Centres (CSCs), or Urban Local Body (ULB) Offices. Submit the required documents, fill out the form, and pay the tax in person.

How To Download Andhra Pradesh House Tax Payment Receipt

The Andhra Pradesh government launched the PuraSeva app in 2017 to simplify property tax payments for residents. Designed by the e-Governments Foundation, this app serves both citizens and government employees. Available exclusively on the Google Play Store, it provides access to various municipal services alongside property tax payments in Andhra Pradesh.

Rebate on Andhra Pradesh Property Tax

Paying property tax for the current financial year before 30th  April comes with a 5% rebate. Residential buildings occupied by the owner get a 40% rebate on the ARV. Additional deductions apply based on the building’s age.

  • 25 years or less: 10% of ARV

  • Above 25 years and up to 40 years: 20% of ARV

  • Above 40 years: 30% of ARV

Penalty For Not Paying Property Tax In Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government levies property tax twice a year. Payments for the first half need to be completed by the end of June and for the second half by the end of December. Late payments incur a 2% simple interest per month. Additionally, penalties may apply to unauthorised constructions along with the property tax.
